GASTROESOPHAGEAL REFLUX IN PRETERM INFANTS

Daouda Diamane Ndour

G

astroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a common problem in neonatology. GERD is often incriminated in various clinical

manifestations occurring in premature infants. However there is no consensus about the clinical and para clinical diagnosis.

Further explorations and treatment offered to premature infants with symptoms are discussed. From a literature review we

discuss at length the different aspects of the problem.
