cne vulgaris (AV) is one of the most commonly-seen
conditions in clinical dermatology. AV pathogenies aspects,
such as the immunological features, are a topic of active
research. For instance, the role of cellular receptors that lead
to the production of nf-b in the etiopathogenesis of AV has
been studied with a growing number of emerging clinical
trials in order to launch new therapies to me market. There
is also some evidence that sebocytes actively participate in
inflammatory processes in the skin, leading to the generation
of Th17 cells, which results on increasing on facial skin pH and
could predispose individuals to AV recurrence.
