A
utism spectrum disorder is a problem that is widespread
throughallcommunitiesandisshowingaremarkableincrease
in prevalence. It is known that early intervention is of utmost
importance for the prognosis of autistic children. Therefore, the
early detection and increasing awareness amongst the public
and the clinical practitioners at all levels is extremely important.
This talk will go through the criteria of ASD, its early symptoms
and signs and the updated recommendations of ASD screen.
