Knowledge attitude and practice of thirty third village citizens toward Asbestos

Background:
Asbestos fibers are present in the natural
environment due to erosion of surface deposits. Asbestos
can lead to many diseases like: Asbestosis, lung cancer,
mesothelioma of pleura or peritoneum, and can cause
groups of other cancers including: Laryngeal cancer, gastro-
intestinal tract and kidney cancer. Our goal was to assess the
knowledge, attitude and practice of thirty third village citizen
in Halfa Aljadida toward asbestos.
Speaker Biography
Mosab Abbas Mohammed is a medical student from Omdurman Islamic University
in fifth year, Sudan. He is a member of doud researches group. His goal is to improve
medical practice by doing a lot of researches that can help our Society and improve
general health.
Salih Boushra Abobaker is a 5
th
year Medical student from Omdurman Islamic University
in Sudan. His journey with researches started since 3
rd
year and now he has 4 researches
in different fields of medicine. He is regarded as one of the top 10 in his faculty and he is
awarded with a physiology prize.
