Special Issue: Theraupeutic Advances in Vision Research
Purpose
Disseminating extraordinary scientific advances to the widest community of experts and clinicians within the disciplines of ophthalmology and visual science.
Mission
The mission of the journal is to support research into the causes, treatment, and prevention of Eye Diseases and Visual Disorders; the training of basic and clinical scientists to carry out this research; and the dissemination of information on research progress in these diseases.
Summary of Special Issue
In this special issue entitled “Prevention, Treatment of Eye Diseases and Visual Disorders” research portfolio includes following core areas:
• Diabetic retinopathy
• Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
• Laser treatments
• Corneal stromal keratitis
• Non-invasive imaging
The goal is to provide better results on hypothesis-driven laboratory or clinical research. We welcome manuscripts encompassing multifaceted aspects of eye disease and disorders.
Results
These findings would conceptually advance treatment for eye diseases & disorders and promote more studies, including clinical investigation, and ultimately lead to better outcomes.
