Statistical Analysis

Statistical analysis is a Data Analytics feature. In the way it is based on business intelligence, statistical analysis is synonymous with the compilation and analysis of each sample of data in a set of items from which samples can be taken. A survey, taken against a total population, is a representative selection in statistics. Statistics is the discipline concerned with data collection , organization, analysis , interpretation and presentation, the two main statistical methods used in data analysis are descriptive statistics, summarizing data. Using indices such as mean or standard deviation, and inferential statistics, the sample draws conclusions from the results, subject to random variation.
