Presbyopia
Presbyopia may be a condition related to the aging of the attention that leads to progressively worsening ability to focus clearly on close objects. Symptoms include difficulty reading small print, having to carry reading farther away, headaches, and eyestrain. Different people will have different degrees of problems. Other sorts of refractive errors may exist at an equivalent time as presbyopia.
Presbyopia may be a normal a part of the aging process. It occurs thanks to hardening of the lens of the attention , causing the attention to focus light behind instead of on the retina when watching close objects. it's a kind of refractive error along side nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Diagnosis is by an eye fixed examination.
Treatment is usually with eyeglasses. The eyeglasses used have higher focusing power within the lower portion of the lens. Off the shelf reading glasses could also be sufficient for a few . Contact lenses can also occasionally be used.
People over 40 are in danger for developing presbyopia and every one people become affected to a point . Around 25% of individuals (1.8 billion globally) are currently affected.
