Pancreatic Cancer Open Access
Pancreatic cancer is cancer that forms within the cells of the pancreas. Pancreatic cancer begins within the tissues of your pancreas — an organ in your abdomen that lies behind the lower a part of your stomach. Your pancreas releases enzymes that aid digestion and produces hormones that help manage your blood glucose. An abdominal aneurysm is an enlarged area within the lower a part of the main vessel that supplies blood to the body (aorta). The aorta runs from your heart through the middle of your chest and abdomen. The aorta is that the largest vessel within the body, so a ruptured abdominal aneurysm can cause life-threatening bleeding. Depending on the dimensions of the aneurysm and the way fast it's growing, treatment varies from watchful waiting to emergency surgery
