13. Military Nurses
Military nurses serve in major branches of the military, including Army, Navy, Air force. They provide direct patient care for service members and their families, perform medical duties for wounded soldiers, and may pursue the same areas of practice specialization that nurses in civilian roles would. Military nursing has many similarities compared to civilian nursing, that is the common goal is to treat patients and promote their well-being. However, military nursing is a career under different circumstances. Military nurses can work either at home or in foreign countries and the most common point for military nurses is to work under military bases, military hospitals, and clinics.
