Biomaterials New Findings
A biomaterial is the substance which interacts with the medical purpose for a treatment, replace and repair of a tissue function of a body. The study of biomaterial science is also known as biomaterial engineering. It experienced a steady and strong growth of companies’ histories which had invested on development of the new products of biomaterials. This science encompasses the elements of biology, medicine, chemistry, material science and tissue engineering. The term biomaterial is different from the word biological material. The biomaterials can be derived naturally or by synthetic way that is by the artificial by approaching to the chemical and metallic components, polymers, ceramics and composite materials.
