Biography:
Kerina is the Food Systems Learning-Support Specialist for the Micronutrient Action Policy Support (MAPS) project. She obtained her first degree (hons) in Nutrition, Physiology and Biochemistry. After completing her M.Med.Sci., where she explored socio-economic differences in nutritional and anthropometric status of urban schoolchildren in Malawi, Kerina worked as a Research Nutritionist on the EPIC-Norfolk Study of cancer based at the University of Cambridge; as a Diet and Nutrition Surveys Scientific Officer for the Food Standards Agency, and as a voluntary Food Labeling and Marketing Project Assistant at Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming.
