Biography:

A.Prof. Ian Martin is a member of the Artificial Intelligence and Optimisation Research Group. He joined Edith Cowan University in 2005 after completing his PhD, focused on medical image processing in 2004. His research involves the application of artificial intelligence and image processing techniques to solve problems in a variety of domains such as health, education and defence. This has resulted in collaboration with partners such as Microsoft Research, The National Archives, The National Trust and The Defence Science Technology Group.
