Abstract:
Cancer strategy 2006 in Ireland suggested centralization of Rectal cancer in 8 designated cancer centres. University Hospital Waterford is one of the first centres in Ireland to implement the policy in 2010. We carried out two audits, Audit 1 in 2014 and Rectabase in 2017 to compare the outcomes and impact of centralization at our centre.
