Abstract:

This session will focus on the importance of feedback. Feedback is a part of every pharmacist’s responsibilities, ranging from clinical pharmacists, pharmaceutical industry, academic scientists, researchers, and scholars. The pharmacist’s practice setting would be irrelevant; feedback is a foundational skill that is required to develop successful pharmacists. This keynote presentation will focus on different elements of feedback, these will include: comparting feedback to an evaluation, contrasting formative and summative feedback, discussing methods of feedback delivery and the principles of effective feedback. This session aims to empower each attendee the ability to fulfil the theme of this international meeting, “Education, Development and Embodying the Principles of Clinical Pharmacy: For Future Success”. By further developing feedback skills, attendees will be able to directly affect the future success of our profession.
