I. Slugotska received Ph.D. degree in Department of Family Medicine, Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University, Ukraine. Significant publications include Some issues in the seriously ill patients. Current research interests include Need of palliative care, Patients with seriously illnesses, Inpatient treatment, Care coordination, Development of the standards of palliative care.
