Biography:

Dr. Sofia Cristina Iost Pavarini is currently serving as a Full Professor, Department of Gerontology, Federal University of São Carlos. Post doctorate in Gerontology from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at UNICAMP. Has experience in gerontology working mainly on the following topics: elderly, elderly caregiver; family, technology, care, cognition. He is the leader of the Health and Aging Research Group. He teaches at the Postgraduate Program in Nursing (Masters and Doctorate) and Postgraduate Studies in Gerontology (Masters), both at UFSCar.
