Biography:

Dr. Akshya Vasudev is an experienced geriatric psychiatrist and clinician researcher. He heads the geriatric mood disorders lab at Parkwood Institute of Mental Health Sciences. His lab is exploring the role of non-pharmacological interventions like yoga, meditation and problem solving therapy in treatment of late life mood disorders. He is supported by research staff, undergraduate and graduate students researching in his lab.
