Biography:

I worked in the World Health Organization (WHO) from 2005 –Jan 2011, as Regional Adviser of Research Policy and Cooperation in the Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (A/RA, RPC, WHO/EMRO) and also as Executive Editor of the Eastern Mediterranean Health Journal (EMHJ). My main positions in Pakistan included Director General, Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (1990-2003); Director General, Pakistan Museum of Natural History (2003-2004); and Director, Technology Information Promotion System (TIPS/ UNDP), Pakistan Bureau (1995-2003).
