Biography:

Maria Brenner is Professor in Children's Nursing and Head of Discipline for Children's Nursing in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin. She leads a programme of research on complex care which includes TechChild, a 5 year project exploring the initiation of technology dependence (funded by the European Research Council), and projects on respite care and care of children with complex care needs at the acute-community interface.
