Biography:
Dr. Uttam Kumar Saha is the Public Service Associate (Associate Professor) and Program Coordinator, Agricultural and Environmental Services Laboratories, University of Georgia. Dr. Saha has a long 27 years of research, teaching, and outreach experience in soil fertility and crop production, hydroponic production of greenhouse vegetable, water quality, remediation of metal contaminated soils and waters, management of solid wastes, synthesis of engineered clay particles for environmental applications, colloid interfacial reactions influencing transformation and transport of nutrients and pollutants in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, and some other topics of soil-water-environmental sciences in Bangladesh, Japan, Canada and USA.
