Dr.M. Thangavel is in the department of Zoology and Microbiology. Expertised in the fields of Zoological Science, Entomology and Microbiology. Presently at the Department of Microbiology, Sree Narayana Guru College,Tamil Nadu, India. One of his famous publication is ANGIOSTRONGYLUS CANTONENSIS (NEMATODA, METASTRONGYLIDAE) IN BANDICOOT RATS IN KERALA, SOUTH INDIA.
