Biography:
Monika Müller (born in 1952 in Munich) worked for several years in her profession as adult educator in Germany. In 1979 she was discovered to no longer have a large intestine, and the medical professionals did not know how she could survive without it. Since she had to rely on herself, she chose to alter her life direction radically and take full responsibility for her health. The next thirty years saw her living and learning in far flung areas of the globe.
