Biography:

Dr. Jing Shen, who grew up in Shanghai, China, earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, after which she served on the UTMB faculty.
