Biography:

Dirk van Papendorp works at Department of Physiology, University of Pretoria, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. In 1986 he joined the Physiology Department, University of Pretoria as associate Professor and he was promoted to full Professor and Head of the Department in 1990. He retired as HOD in 2014. Since his retirement he was appointed on a contract basis for 3 years in the Department. He is still actively involved with post graduate students.
