Ultrasonography Diagnosis of Nasal Bone Fracture and it’s Contrast with Traditional Radiology

Objective: To compare the ultrasonographic findings In all patients with traditional radiology, with that of normal radiology Nasal bone fracture suspected.

Material and methods: Patients who undergo nasal trauma Presented to the Department of Emergencies and ENT-HNS OPD For this prospective analysis, KMC was taken. Of the 81 examples, Suspected fracture of the nasal bone included, all of them were Clinically evaluated, then evaluated with X-rays, followed by Ultrasonograms.

Result: The findings showed that USG had a major gain in the diagnosis of especially insignificant or subtlenasal bone fractures relative to traditional nose radiology.

Conclusion: USG is a process that is reliable and readily available. For the diagnosis of fractures of the nasal bone and may thus be used. As one of the tools of choice in nasal fractures for investigation. It is exempt from the possibility of radiation and may also be an addendum. Medico-legal investigative method as printed there is potential evidence.
