One of the key areas where biotechnology is having a major impact is in healthcare. Biotechnology has helped to develop a range of new drugs and therapies that are improving the lives of millions of people around the world. For example, biotechnology has led to the development of targeted therapies that can selectively target cancer cells, reducing the side effects associated with traditional chemotherapy. Biotechnology has also helped to create vaccines, such as the covid-19 vaccine, that have been instrumental in controlling the spread of infectious diseases. In addition to healthcare, biotechnology is also making significant contributions to agriculture.
