This article serves as a comprehensive guide for diabetic patients who need to use respiratory medications, particularly bronchodilators, to ensure their well-being while maintaining blood sugar control. It is not uncommon for individuals with diabetes to experience respiratory problems. Diabetes can affect various organs in the body, including the lungs. Chronic inflammation and high blood sugar levels can lead to a higher risk of respiratory issues, such as asthma and COPD. Moreover, some medications used to manage diabetes can also have side effects related to lung function. Recognizing the interplay between diabetes and respiratory conditions is essential for a holistic approach to healthcare [1, 2].
