Dr. Lisa Marie Portugal holds a Ph.D. in Leadership for Higher Education. She instructs under-graduate, graduate, and doctoral coursework in the College of Education for various institutions. Her expertise includes student engagement and success, adult learning theory, best practices in online learning, faculty and student retention, emerging technologies, non-traditional and at-risk learners, hiring practices, and faculty burn-out.
