Biography:

Dr. Vaughan is a physician at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, Texas) in the Department of Medicine, Divisions of General Internal Medicine and Atherosclerosis and Vascular Medicine. Her primary interest is improving diabetes care for resource-poor populations by utilizing Community Health Workers (CHWs) and telehealth support. Dr. Vaughan’s career interest was prompted by international experiences as a Registered Dietitian (RD) and during medical training. This interest started more than 25 years ago.
