Biography:
Dr. Mohamed M. Sayed-Ahmed is Professor of Pharmacology and Experimental Oncology, Cancer Biology Department, National Cancer Institute, Cairo University. He has graduated from College of Pharmacy in 1985. Two years later, he joined the National Cancer Institute, Cairo University, Egypt and completed his master thesis on the effect of local hyperthermia and some anticancer drugs on the treatment of Solid Ehrlich Carcinoma in 1992. Dr. Sayed-Ahmed went to USA, in 1994, to perform the experimental part of his Ph.D thesis at the College of Medicine, Duke University Medical Centre, Durham, North Carolina.
