Biography:
Dr. Ruwan Ferdinando attended Royal College, Colombo and graduated from the University of Colombo in 1996 with honours. He is a Consultant Community Physician and a Board Certified Specialist in Community Medicine in Sri Lanka. Presently he works as the Consultant Community Physician (Planning) and from 2011-2019 was the Deputy Director (Training) of the National Institute of Health Sciences, Kalutara which is the premier health training institute in the Ministry of Health. He is a past member of the Board of Study in Community Medicine and a present member of the Interim Specialty Board in Clinical Nutrition.
