Constantin Caruntu, MD, PhD is a dermatologist at the Institute of Diabetes Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases, Bucharest since 2008, and Assistant Professor at “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest since 2004. He has completed his Dermatology and Venereology Residency at “Carol Davila” Central Military Hospital, Bucharest. He was trained in cellular and molecular biology techniques (Bucharest, Romania 2003), in vivo confocal laser scanning microscopy (Modena, Italy 2009 and Bucharest, Romania 2010) and molecular imaging techniques (Bucharest, Romania 2011). He is  a member of International Dermoscopy Society, Romanian Society of Dermatology.
