Intensive care of trauma patients
Aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the intensive care management of trauma patients. Trauma is a leading cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide, and the critically ill trauma patient requires specialized care to optimize outcomes. This article discusses various aspects of trauma care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including initial resuscitation, monitoring, organ support, infection control and long term complications.
