Editorial Note of an Endometrial and Parotid Cancer Patient with a PMS2 Germline Mutation
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second most common cancer
in both men and women, and it is the leading cause of death
from cancer in Puerto Rico. Lynch syndrome (LS) is involved
in 2-4 percent of familial CRC cases, accounting for 10-15%
of all CRC cases. The prevalence, clinical manifestations, and
genetic mutations of hereditary CRC in Hispanics in the
United States are all unknown. Author(s): Fleur Delacour*
