For more than three decades, Brazilian clinical embryologists have worked without specific rules and following other professional regulations that are unsuitable for
this professional category. This document aims to guide behavior and decision making, providing guidance to the embryologist in order to benefit both professionals
involved in Assisted Reproduction processes and patients. The publication of the “CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT OF THE BRAZILIAN ASSOCIATION OF
EMBRYOLOGISTS – PRONÚCLEO” is an important breakthrough and the first step towards regulating Clinical Embryology as a profession.
