Aims and Scope

Journal of RNA and Genomics (formerly Journal of RNAi and Gene Silencing) will publish high-quality original research and review articles in the general areas of RNA structure and function and genomics. The journal specifically prioritizes the publication of streamlined scientific manuscripts that have biomedical and agricultural implications.

The broad scope of the journal encompasses the basic and applied concepts and technologies involved in the study RNA and gene function, including but limited to, the of structure and function of RNA, including mRNA, tRNA, rRNA and ribozymes, RNA editing, RNA chemistry, non-coding RNAs, siRNAs, miRNAs, transcriptomics, genome editing, genome analysis, functional genomics, epigenomics and RNA seq/whole genome sequencing, microarray analysis and computational genomics. The journal will also consider manuscript on traditional genome modulation technologies, such as antisense oligonucleotides and functional DNAs, such as deoxyribozymes.

The journal accepts manuscripts in the form of research articles, review articles, short communications, commentaries, opinion articles and Letters to Editor. All submissions should be made online via the editorial manager system. The acceptance or rejection of the submitted manuscripts is based on the comments provided by the subject matter experts.
